AWCI Excellence in Plastering Awards 2012

Entries for the AWCI Excellence in Plastering Awards close 9th May 2012.

Attached is the 2012 entry form for those who wish to nominate a special project for consideration.

Winners will be announced at the AWCI Awards Night to be held at the Sofitel Brisbane on 4th August 2012.

The AWCI will aslo be announcing the winners who will be representing Queensland at the National Awards.

Boral Price Increase

We have received notification from Boral Plasterboard that they will be implementing a price increase of 7 % on all manufactured plasterboard, cornice and compound products on 1 March 2012.

As you can appreciate we have no alternative but to pass on this increase at the time it is implemented by the manufacturer.

HIA Media Release - Housing to 2020

HIA, the voice of Australia’s residential building industry, today released the HIA - JELD-WEN Housing to 2020 report. The report provides projections of the underlying demographic demand for housing and the number of dwellings to be completed over the next nine years at a national, state, and local government area.
